We welcome community members and families who have stories, photographs, documents, memorabilia, or information connected to African American history in Columbus County. You do not necessarily have to give away your original items. Contact 3CPAAC to discuss how your history may be documented, digitized, recorded, or shared as part of our preservation efforts.

There are many ways to be part of our work. You can volunteer, attend our programs and events, share family or community history, partner with us, make a financial contribution, or help spread the word about our mission. Cultural preservation is a community effort, and everyone has something valuable to contribute.

Yes. As a nonprofit organization, eligible donations to 3CPAAC are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors should retain their donation receipt for their records and consult a tax professional regarding their individual circumstances. You can also setup recurring donations.

Your donation directly supports 3CPAAC's mission to preserve, celebrate, and share African American history and culture in Columbus County. Contributions help fund historical preservation, oral-history and storytelling projects, educational programs, community events, digitization of historical materials, exhibits, and other mission-driven initiatives.
